Looks like it sped up some and the landfall will be early Monday morning. As I said earlier...hurricanes suck but they suck even more coming ashore at night.

This was absolutely the case in Lake Charles from Laura to Delta. There were no trees left after Laura. Electricity after Delta was back up and running in less than 24 hours in many areas. This was after sustained winds of 65 mph and gusts of 95 mph.

It's the same points as the nhc map. The hurricane icon is 7 am

Thanks. My son And his wife wouldn’t leave Louisiana until at least 4 this afternoon. They’re still trying to decide to just stay here or go to Katy tonight.

Noticed they are predicting it to hold Cat 1 further onto land. Yesterday it was a hurricane at landfall and then TS quickly.
