The only good thing about being short is when you're walking through the woods.

I'm over 6' tall and a chick. It hasn't negatively impacted my dating prospects. If anything, it was a pro. It helps that I've always been comfortable dating men shorter than me. My pool would've been severely limited if I only went taller.

Cons: finding pants that are long enough. Being completely conspicuous everywhere I go. Having people ask me if I played basketball.

Con for being tall:

Bad back. With everything being made for handicap/wheelchair accessible now, everything from mirrors to door handles to counter tops are all set lower now that 15 years ago. I cannot stand and work for any period of time at a standard counter top. And forget about doing dishes in the sink.

bullshite on there being no cons to being tall.

I'm 6'8.

I can dunk.

That's about it.

Men hate you. They have some built in Napoleon syndrome and they want to start shite with you.

Women if they don't know you are paranoid about you. Sex can get super awkward with shorter girls because things don't line up.

You stand out and are automatically a target.

You can't hide.

People have unrealistic expectations of you. "You didn't play in the nba? frick you you fricking failure."

Clothes cost more.

Beds cost more.

You hit your head all the time.

I'd rather be shorter.

If you had the choice of being 6'8 or 5'2, what would you choose?

The pants thing is the only bad thing about being a tall woman. Cropped jeans better stay in style for a really long time Also skinny jeans tucked into boots in the winter is a Godsend for any tall woman as well.

Otherwise it's awesome being a tall chick.

Best part.....you are less likely to blow up weight wise than a short chick. A tall girl can gain 10-15 lbs and still look relatively thin.

Ehh, probably 6'8 but that's not a given. Not everyone but a lot of people automatically see me as a freak at my height. And it's caused health problems. I dated a woman who was 5'2 and there was only 3 positions we could have sex to.

If I were 6'7 and didn't cash a couple years of checks playing sports at some level I'd have to contemplate suicide.

I think the taller the girl is, it just eliminates more guys that will want to date you. Sure, you only need to find the one, but as you're going through the dating phase of life, most guys don't want to date taller women.

This I would say is true. While in college everyone was starting shite with our 6'4 friend. Usually would leave us shorter dudes alone. I guess it's the whole, find the biggest guy in the room and nick him out thing.

don't know about that. I'm 5'9" and my knees touch the seat in front of me. Of course, I slum it in coach. Hate it for the tall guys. I did fly on a couple of new United 737's last week and it seems like they've increased the leg room.

True, I'm fast asleep on the plane while my tall dad and brother have to sit sideways and can never get comfortable.

I never had an issue with my height and dating. I've dated several guys shorter than me. And they loved it when I wore heels when we went out. It's all about confidence.

Also if you are a woman dating in LA, you kinda have to deal with dating short men, since so many guys there are short.
