from what I can see, they're the worst people in America
Some of y'all need to get a grip on reality.

You'll find those in the ranks of teachers.
There is nothing sacred about the profession.

It's not the parents' "natural IQs" that make the difference. That is faux Darwinian hogwash.
It is their level of education and socioeconomic status. Parents' education and SES are by far the biggest predictors of student success. Rich, educated parents produce higher performing kids.
And what is educational status and SES predicated on?
There have been massive studies done on this stuff for 100 years. The present research suggests that upwards of 60% of success (educational and SE) is predicated on IQ.
Even the US Military enacts policies around IQ. At an 85 IQ, the US Military relegates you to extremely low end jobs because of the lack of cognitive ability to perform.
If you take a kid with an 85 IQ and place him with a millionaire family with parents with doctorates, he is still going to max out on the lower end of academic achievement.

I went to high school in the mid 90's. My teacher asked me to grab something off her desk and her school paycheck was right there. I remember it being in the $700 range.

The budgets of various BR private schools and the budget of EBR schools.
quote:It's not bad policy. It's money the public schools are required by law to spend that the private schools aren't. Nutrition is also directly tied to student outcomes. Kids who eat better perform better.
Those are dollar allocations. They count in terms of spending per student. If you think that is bad policy (which it very well may be) so be it but you don’t get to line item expenditures when you are the one making that argument that spending is correlated to outcomes.
quote:Then you should know you are using it incorrectly.
I know exactly what exponential means. And there are exponential differences in objective measurements like college scholarship money, tier 1 college acceptance rates, etc.
quote:You've changed the language now. And still provided no support for your conclusions.
Private schools spend less money per student and have significantly better outcomes.

bullshite.
You just don't understand it.
Look at school expenditures per student across the nation, then index with quality of education.

Teachers are like any other profession. Some are great. Others are whiny, lazy morons. The latter tend to be the most vocally opinionated.

He literally changed from "exponentially" better to "significantly" better.

You can't even acknowledge facts given to you in this thread. You're incapable of understanding them.

Link to things I've physically held in my hands and analyzed?

Which could be bad policy. Law regarding education expenditures is "policy". One side doesn't get docked for allocating resources differently. In fact, that's really what should be analyzed if you were at all interested in educational improvement.
quote:
Then you should know you are using it incorrectly.
I'm not when stated in terms of million units. When one public school's graduating class receives $1.5 M total in scholarship funds and the private receives almost $30 M in scholarship funds, that is an exponential difference of seven.

I would argue that the educational leaders implementing hypersexualization curriculum and CRT curriculum in elementary schools are among the worst people in the country.
