You really don't get it do you? If you said what you quoted in your OP, that is devaluing people.

Insubordination and obstinance come from somewhere. Rarely is someone, especially the older generation, going to just defy their boss and risk their jobs.

You seem to lack any sort of self-awareness as to how you are a part of these issues (for lack of a better term). You might want to figure it out before you end up in the unemployment line yourself.

It's not the hoping, it's the putting it in writing for public consumption.

Seriously, a piece of common sense advice-if accused of something, don't talk about said accusation to anyone except your legal counsel. Venting on the internet is just a bad idea.

you also seem to be severely discounting just how greatly a public discrimination suit can hurt your organization.

While true, you need to learn to be professional and work as a team. Belittling most of your team is not a good way to start. Keep things positive and you may get a better response and positive outcome.

I'm truly joking- but it's pretty telling that the same poster starts 2 different threads complaining about subordinates. I hope he takes it in stride and improves his people skills. He sounds like a peach to work with.

How is this even an issue? If you have a worker that cannot be trained to use the equipment to perform on the job, then move that employee to a new position or terminate employment.

Sounds more like being an a-hole than ageism.
