And they picked Thibodaux, Louisiana, USA as the site for their mansion?

I was at Nicholls when they first started building it and that was the initial rumor. I thought the exact same, why would some rich Indian family pick Thibodaux

There are a couple very pretty old homes in Clinton LA on the main street going through that little town . there is also a very big old house on hwy 51 at the red light in Tickfaw. I know it was in disrepair for a while. I have no idea of it's current status.

On Bayou Cane next to Trace, but can’t see it well from through the trees. It’s on Lemiux Blvd across from a commercial business. Can’t see from road either. Best view is from a kayak or google earth.

been wondering what is up with that place, my grandmother lives in the neighborhood across the street there. She also has a monstrosity in her neighborhood on Christina Oaks, check that out from google earth if you're bored.

The couple that owns the house are both internal medicine doctors. They brought a lot of their family from India, but they are not from royal bloodlines as far as I know.

My daughter is the same age as their daughter. There was a birthday party where we had to sign a "will not sue" consent to be able to attend. I think at some other party, a parent tried to sue when their daughter got drunk on-site (like it was the owners fault). Douchebag move for sure.

Didn't read all the responses yet but did someone mention the castle on the Mermentau river?

Jesse Duplantis house in Destrahan

Every day driving by that, I think about how much money was wasted on such an ugly fricking "house".

If you're on Facebook still look up "For The Love of Old Houses". It's a page that shows old homes for sale across the country, it's remarkable the homes you can buy elsewhere
