Holy smokes. I was checking out costs for 2023 and the place we normally stay and it's up 62.5% for next year. Aprox $6,400 this year to about $10,400 for a week next year in the summer. It's not a big place either but is on the water.

Checked out a few condos and those are about 5k where they used to run about 3k

If you're like me and enjoy the Redneck Rivera, how much would your stomping grounds be next year?

Louisianans will have to visit Grand Isle this year rather than Alabama or the FL Panhandle.

It seems like real estate along the entire Florida Panhandle has doubled the last 2-3 years.

Probably cheaper to just fly down to the Bahamas.

I haven’t noticed that big of an increase as much as I’ve noticed that a lot more people booked early as hell this year. If you’re planning on going this summer I’d advise you to jump on it right now!

I know 2 separate groups/families heading to Isla Mujeres in June and both are saving thousands of dollars.

Get off the water and prices are more than reasonable.

Started with the Covid. People that normally went on cruises had to find somewhere different to spend their free money from the government.

Relative has a nice 3 bedroom condo in Ft. Walton on the beach. He has been getting huge unsolicited cash offers to buy it.

Place we're going to in June has a roughly 7% increase for the same week in 2023.

Now all the suburban moms are going to have to order a 30A sticker online for their Tahoe

I wish I’d been the fricker that came up with those damn stickers.

well I can tell you, the cost of a quick getaway to the beautiful white sand beaches of the coonass Riviera, has made me start exploring options in other areas. Places on the Atlantic coast I'd only heard of but never pursued- because of my fondness for the Panhandle- are on the radar.
They've effectively found the ceiling IMO. Good luck to them.

I'd find a different beach.

Nothing wrong with the lake or mountains either.
