I used to live down By-yuh Dularge, now I live in By-you Blue.

I use both. Never thought about it before.

I can practically see one from my house and I live in the middle of Lafayette.

Been living in Houston for 7+ years now and haven’t heard this once.

All my friends from college that are from Cut-off, Galiano, Golden Meadow all say By-yuh. As in “down da by-yuh”

Everyone from NOLA where I’m from says by-you.

I'm not offended at all, just sounded like you didn't think we had bayous in this area. I don't know how often you crawl out of your bayou to see other areas of the state

Several folks in the Port Barre to Krotz Springs to Avoyelles Parish area refer to is as "Ba", and just completely ignore the second syllable. Spring Ba as opposed to Spring Bayou for example
