It should be perfectly normal to see someone carrying a rifle, being publicly armed should not be left up to the government.

It would deter a lot of crimes also.

No. He's not.
"Educating" a couple of cops who are called out for a public nuisance involving a person with a rifle around children is not protecting any rights.
It hurts our rights.
The average person that was out on the beach saw a jackass narcissist that they can now associate with all gun owners.
People like him will end up getting the carry while fishing exemption overturned.

Nonsense... Politicians have always legislated to erode our rights and give themselves more power regardless of how well you behave. The more we jump thru hurdles, pay the govt for permission to exercise our rights, comply, just do as told or not do anything that would upset others.... the more govt abuses its power.

You know what really hurts our rights? Being complacent and thinking tyranny won’t happen to us.

We shouldn’t exercise the rights that scare others bc that’ll bring attn and cause us to lose it?

So why give them ammo to get rid of a right by being a jackass that brings a gun to a crowded tourist beach?
How is not being a troll looking for attention, jumping through hoops?
He could have set up a booth right there on the pier to educate about gun rights, open carry, etc that afternoon & evening. Instead he wants to pull these dumb stunts for a youtube circle jerk.
He did nothing to help advance gun rights in any way.

You clearly do not understand what is happening here. These videos have done more to open our eyes and educate the masses bc many don’t even know their rights anymore. Which is exactly what govt wants.

We’ve been conditioned to fear govt for so long that we have forgotten the most basic roots of our foundation. When govt no longer fears the people, you have peaceful slavery.

Many do not care about those rights. Instead they are all about their feels. Loads of them in this thread and many that likely own guns.

I think people that feel the need to walk around with a gun all the time are morons. Doesn't mean I think the cops should be detaining them as it is their right to be morons.

Authoritarians want you detained for things they don't agree with. Laws and rights mean nothing, only their opinions and emotions.

Help me understand when the law applies and when it doesn't.

Don’t be so sensitive, I said absolutely nothing about the law or how it’s correctly applied. I don’t need to help you understand anything.

I agree with him on most of what I saw, the guys still a douche youtuber looking for likes and attention though.

I honestly agree. There are some very good 1, 2 and 4A audit channels who purposely check and record for the reactions. Turning the education of law right back onto the very guys who are sworn to uphold it but don't know the laws themselves.

One really good one is Audit the Audit. They just take other vids and break them down to determine who is right or wrong. Case law, commentary, outcome, the whole deal. Amazing stuff and educational.

This. Let's try another one. Say you're driving down the interstate at 70 mph (the speed limit) and an officer decides to pull you over and ticket you because it looked like you may speed soon, and he felt uncomfortable.

Getting mad at law-abiding citizens is bizarre. Some of you just love a nanny state.

FIFY

Some of you really need to read up on the founding of this country and what makes it so unique.

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

Freedom is hard sometimes, and it requires us to be on the same page. I don't understand how people can view the tyranny and general crimes against humanity happening in other countries and genuinely believe it could never happen here.

It’s this kind of behavior that causes everybody to suffer. Yes, he is using the literal wording g of the law to make an absurd statement on his 2A rights.

Common sense interpretation of that law is that a citizen and have their pistol strapped on while doing such things as traveling to and from their destination for sporting activities. A boat ramp or while going to a hunting camp. It’s pretty common sense.

Wearing an AR15 on Clearwater beach while carrying his fishing pole with the Don’t Tread in Me flag is just being an a-hole. Clearwater Beach is a Park as are all beaches in Florida. The city of Clearwater has every right to trespass him from that location. If his makes a public spectacle of himself then the have probably cause to arrest him for Disorderly Conduct as it is a misdemeanor being committed in the presence of a police officer.

It’s guys like this jackass that screw things up for everybody else.

Flame away.

It's funny that we see this so differently. If I saw this person on the beach, I would not feel in any danger whatsoever. If you're being honest, you would feel the same way, because deep down you know that a pro-America fisherman who happens to be carrying a gun is not the biggest threat to your or your family's safety.

You would know this because common sense tells you. Also because it flies in the face of every single bit of quantifiable data we have on who is committing the most gun violence in the U.S. in 2021.

Yep. If you are going to make a point, publicly, like that - you have to be mature enough and strong enough to not devolve into calling people names and cussing only 4 minutes into the thing. It stains your point a little because no one is going respect the name-caller. Same crap all the progressives do as their go-to move - attack the person and avoid the actual issue.
