That dude's gun swings around A LOT towards the end of the video. Probably not a great idea to walk amongst families on vacation dropping F-bombs.

I certainly don't endorse anything seen here.

open carry is probably the best way to avoid being fricked with by criminals. Unfortunately, it also brings attention from cops who usually don't even know what the law says.

I  love watching these guys. It’s like going to a zoo. Get to see them chimp out, get to see the cops get all snarky and pissy. Great entertainment.

People with this mindset are one of the biggest threats to our liberty.

cops

I frankly don't even understand why we have them anymore. Does anyone actually feel able to rely on them for anything at all? They don't protect our property or person effectively. They basically exist to prop up a government apparatus that's mostly pointless.

To me, this is the most important reason for having open carry. When criminals, especially potential mass shooters, know that any of their targets could shoot back, they’re less likely to open up on a crowd.

The more visibly armed citizens, the better. To hell with enabling the crazies who want you to be an unarmed target.

Fully aware of the law that allows open carry while fishing. I've had more than a couple outdoors stores try to sell me on that premise and needing a $1,000 salt proof pistol.
He is a chode.
Nothing he does helps the public image of gun owners.
Clearwater is a swimmers beach, so he wouldn't have been fishing legally at that time of day. The pier is a pay pier that doesn't allow firearms, alchohol, profanity, etc. so he wasn't going to fish on the pier either.

Please let me know how this guy helped improve the image of fishermen, outdoorsmen or gun owners in any way.
I'll hang up and listen.

Just because he can open carry that weapon legally doesn’t mean he should be doing it. He just a jackass doing it because he knows he can and is looking for trouble. He knows he is testing people and was probably looking for a cop to challenge him.

So the law doesn't apply when you're just a youtuber looking for likes?

Help me understand when the law applies and when it doesn't.

He was responding to a question about why the guy felt the need to do something.

Help me understand what that has to do with who the law applies to or the questions you are asking.

So fricking what?

Last I heard we still had rights in this country.

How, or why, some choose to exercise them is not your concern or anyone else’s for that matter.

The rights are granted by God and upheld by the state. Not the other way around.

Bingo we have a winner. You took a gun to a beach with kids swimming and adults enjoying the sun and weather. Why the fuk did he feel the need to carry a gun and an AR at that? He was looking for attention and was hoping the cops would come up on him which they did. Fuk that douchebag

Holy cow I’ve seen this guy fishing in the park right next to my apartment downtown.

People stop and take pictures of him but I’ve never seen anyone bother him.
