Judge not.
Good or bad.
Go knows the heart, in most cases better then we know our own hearts. When we die we will not be able to deny where our true love is.
Many people who believe themselves to be Christians will deny God in their judgement for the love of their sins.

My MaMaw loved watching Jimmy on TV, no telling how much money she sent him.

I'm not a fan of preachers who use offerings to live in luxury. But JS accomplished a few noteworthy things here in Baton Rouge. He built a first-rate campus on empty fields at Bluebonnet and I-10. He opened his books to public scrutiny, even paying for a special section of the Advocate to do so. He paid his financial debts. He minimized meddling in politics.

He was still driving last time I saw him. That’s pretty good for 90.

I figured he would’ve paid for enough of these by now.

These were always my favorites.

Jimmy should be admired. Took money in the name of the LORD, and did it very successfully.
Wish I had that charm!

He was first cousins with Jerry Lee Lewis and Mickey Gilley

I’ve long had my differences with JSM, but agreed. Man was no shake down artist. He was just human like the rest of us, and like the rest of us, dependent solely upon Jesus for right standing with God through faith, not in ourselves in the least little bit.
Fresh out of HS and needing a job, I worked there for a hot minute before they moved to the new church and I watched as things changed in my observations as that ministry grew by leaps and bounds, and with it a change in many other things resulting from such a large organization around him. It’s for this reason that I tend to avoid large churches to this day. It becomes a trap for people serious about their faith. Anyway, there’s a lot more I can say on this that I’ll keep to myself because it doesn’t serve any purpose to bring it up here, but suffice it to say I wish Jimmy and his family the best in all of this, and no I’ll will from me.

Men of God set an example by living an honest life, not grifting and stealing in the name of God. Only truly evil people would build an empire of greed that takes advantage of gullible broken soul people. It's gonna be hot when Jimmy gets there.

Jesus would've gone in that and been incredibly upset. Just like he would be at Joel Osteen's "church". Just like he was in the Bible.

I'm going to hell for that.

You’re right, but conversely, men of God are not God, but those in need of a savior and forgiveness, as are you and me, and if we don’t forgive men of their sins, will we be forgiven of ours?
