This already exists, little throwing money at bad businesses.
Plus if you put this in baton rouge and try to do this without any employees. Good luck.. that location will be vandalized within a week

Frankly, I think small, automated, single item restaurants is something we'll be seeing more of.
The automat lives again!

But if you’re being paid around $9 or $10 an hour, you’re not going to be happy at that level.
If your choice is that or starve then you will be fine with $10 an hour
But they govt pays more than that to sit at home

Just like McDonalds, Burger King, Pizza Hut, Subway, Little Caesars, Atomic Burger, and Zaxby's.
Exactly it won’t be diff at any of these if a machine does it. They all have timers anyway.
They have that bot flippy. You just need the robot to flip the same patties a person is and to drop a fry basket and pull it up just like a person does.
You can just have a couple of people putting the order together and completely focusing on the customer and keeping the dining area up.
With the pizza I’m not saying it won’t be complete shite, but being automated won’t be why. I’ve had bad pizza that a human made too.

I have a feeling it'll taste like grocery freezer pizza, and if it does... I might as well just go buy some grocery freezer pizza.
Like every other chain pizza company that gets their ingredients out of 5-gallon buckets and boxes from the freezer truck of a food service company?

These guys are late to the game. Piestro has had proof of concept and 5,000 machines preordered for almost a year now.

Face it. Just about everything will be automated here in this country. The elite will own the majority of businesses, the govt will send out biweekly checks to the majority of the population to provide for basic needs. This is why the democrats want a socialist govt. You will own nothing yet will work less if at all and you will be content with that. At least most idiots will.

You can taste the love people put into food. This will suck dick.
You can also taste the hate people put into food, which is why it is always hit or miss for chain type restaurants. This should at the very least produce a consistent product. Also, if you can automate it to build a basic pizza, how much harder can it be to improve it to build a decent pizza?

I think it will be very successful. Don’t have to worry about workers not showing up for work too.

Is Papa Murphy’s still around in Baton Rouge? That take and bake pizza was legit.

Harrahs on the Mississippi Gulf Coast has one of these:
It has pizza, bagel sandwiches, brownies, castle burgers, and more.
Never tried though.

Amazing what you can do with some 80/20 and Raspberry Pi.

We’ve discuss these people before on here and talked about how sketchy they are.
They are also claiming to already have an $800m deal signed, which seems HIGHLY suspect. Speedy Eats signs $800M deal for first wave of automated pizza stations

Put me down for frozen pizzas. They are better than ever.

Well, isn’t that essentially what Cici’s, Ceasar’s, and Hunt Brothers are anyway? And they still rake in the money. When you’re paying $8 for a pizza, you’re not exactly getting stone fired, hand tossed gourmet pizza.
