BATON ROUGE — It was a busy night for first responders with two additional shootings overnight, following a deadly shooting Sunday evening.
Sunday evening started with a shooting in the 3300 block of Hollywood Street with a man shot multiple times, but died at the hospital. He’s been identified as 20-year-old Johnathan Chambers.
There were also two stabbings Sunday evening. The first was around 9 p.m. at N. Foster Dr. & Charles St. with a man stabbed in the head. Roughly two hours later and about three miles away, there was another stabbing near N. Donmoor Avenue and Harry Dr. Both were nonfatal. It’s unclear if the two are connected.
Overnight, the first shooting was near Airline Highway and Plank Rd. with a man shot multiple times and transported to the hospital. His condition is unknown.
Then around 2:30 a.m., there was another shooting at Greenwell Springs Rd. near Joor Rd. At the scene, a woman was shot at least twice. She was transported to a hospital.

Gravy is saying that if north Baton Rouge had a grocery store you’d seen violence drop quickly.

If you gave me 10 guesses of where these occurred I'd have probably gotten at least half right.
