at least aesthetically. Granted I havent gone north of Florida Blvd and I'm from the westbank of Nola but this place doesn't seem as bad as the shithole y'all make it out to be.

Like comparing a shithole to a bunghole.

One's just had a few more dicks in it.

Everything on the OT is exaggerated. Just stay out of NBR and the handful of shithole neighborhoods in the south part of the city and you'll be fine.

There are absolutely parts of the city that you should avoid though

BR leaves a lot to be desired but it gets an incredibly bad reputation on here.

Like most places, it has its good areas and it’s bad areas.

I will say that one of the biggest things going against BR is the fact that it hasn’t exactly changed much. I think the last five years have been better, but for a long time it was like time stood still in terms of growth there.

It's not bad. Southside is nice.
I wish there was more in the way of outdoor recreation but the Lakes are nice.
Traffic is a bitch during rush hours however.

If they would just pressure wash or repaint the walls lining the interstate, the aesthetic game would increase +100

You can get 8 pieces at the Triple S for $4.99. Once you do, you will understand.
