SIAP, but when the Daily Mail gave her publicity for being a prevaricator, it seems important. LINK

A glamorous Louisiana judge has been booted off the bench after being caught out in a string of outrageous lies, including about her own military service.

I think they mispronounced “lying”

Louisiana has about 50 more judges to go.

Her face looks like a Mardi Gras float character.

Central to the fabrications that the judge pushed was claims that she was a veteran of Operation Desert Storm - the name for the US-led Gulf War in the early 1990s - despite being aged just 16 at the time.
Really? No one could tell that was a lie?

Black Santa. Figures.

My only encounter with this judge was positive. But the Supreme Court opinion the other day described a pathological liar and crook. Removing a judge is incredibly rare, and usually reserved for folks convicted of crimes. Glamor didn’t save her.

Johnson Rose should have gotten the boot too.

Sadder than the travesty of this lying, incompetent Stolen Valor clown is the fact it was only a 4-3 vote to remove her….3 LA Supreme Court “justices”’voted to not remove her.

A black male judge was suspended for 6 months in Lafayette too.

quote:read the dissenting opinions before you grab your pitchfork. Her term is almost up, they favored suspension for the remainder of her term until the election wherein the voters would decide her fate. Like many I believe that district voting for judges is absurd, but the 3 justices that dissented simply came down on the side of voter agency and not an opinion on the severity of her behavior
3 LA Supreme Court “justices”’voted to not remove her.
or you could just remain ignorantly outraged which seems to be the default setting of this simulation we all live in now

Judges must all be replaced by AI.
It will know the law and truly rule unbiased.

I’m beginning to believe this is the only way we will be saved as a society. AI can look at things without bias and emotion and apply the law and rules strictly.

There have been instances where AI has actually made up fictional cases and case law.

I’ve caught two opposing lawyers this year citing fake cases or misquoting existing ones. It has a long way to go.
