quote:

“These people going to heaven. Ain’t nothing to do in this boring-*** city,” Barkley said in an interview.

“Oh my gosh,” O’Neal said in reply laughing and then added, “I never ate so much room service in my life.”

I thought SLC and Provo were 2 of the best cities I ever visited.

That's funny since I didn't provide editorial comments on the story positive or negative.

SLC is mostly known for winter activities like skiing. Can you imagine giant arse Shaq and Charles Barkley barreling down a mountain on skis?

Do you have any idea how much different the average SLC resident is from a professional basketball player? It’s a city geared toward granola white folks with heavy Mormon influence. Not exactly going to be preferred by NBA players. That shouldn’t be a surprise to anybody

No offense but I agree. Unless you like studying your family tree in a building I forget the name of. It is boring.

I was not impressed with the Morton salt body of water where you float. But it was cool.

IIRC: you can't drink you can BYOB in restaurants, correct?

You have to buy food to be served a drink. It’s bizarre

Ha! I live in Utah. Moved here from New Orleans and before that Boston.

It’s definitely boring - I love it so much.

It’s like that in some counties in GA. I’ve been handed a pack of crackers with a beer while waiting on a table many times.

SLC sucks. Don’t move there. Don’t ever come to Utah. It is awful. Stay in New Orleans.

Black people live very boring lives. What would these two guys be doing
in other cities outside of playing golf and going to a club?

Shaq and Barkley don't get the euphoria of skiing in 30 inches of fresh powder up Cottonwood Canyon. To each his own.

If you’re looking to party, like the rest of the quote implied, it probably is boring.
