In 1974 I saw Barbra at a parade in New Orleans on Canal Street. She was standing on a ladder being supported at the bottom by her body guard. My sister and I were standing right beside the ladder she was on. My mom tapped me on the shoulder and said ... "Guess who that is pointing at the lady with blonde hair, that's Barbra Eden from I dream of Jeannie!"
She was absolutely freaking stunning! OMG she was wearing a form fitting pants and blouse. Yes, I still remember... After the parade was over as she was getting off the ladder, she reached down and grabbed my sisters chin and said "you are one beautiful little girl".
Her and her body guard, walked away in the crowd and left the ladder there. I never missed another episode after that.....and still wood!

My mother worked on a movie set as an extra with Barbara. She said Barbara had some serious pock marking from severe acne or chicken pox or whatever. Looks as if she had that problem corrected.
