Idk but I saw this crocodile man put some white powder in a pot of boiling water and he told the man with the “sniffles” to put his head over the pot and take big deep breaths. It would clear him right up.

Heating pad behind the neck and alternate over the top of the face and nose bridge. Also, a few drops of peppermint or eucalyptus oil in the palm, rub together, cup over nose and breath in deep. That'll help open sinuses up. Then down a BC powder if that does get rid of the headache. Stay away from dairy for a white as that causes your body to make more mucus.

I had sinusitis a couple of years ago, was one of the worst pains I’ve ever had. Felt like my teeth were getting pushed out of my head.

Hold a vibrating handheld massage on your sinus cavities for a few minutes. It’s the most effective remedy I have ever tried. I’m guessing dried up mucus is dislodged due to the vibration which helps the rest drain.

Mucinex D. Eat the whole box if you have to, it’s the only thing that works for me.

Start eating garlic like you're preparing to battle Dracula, take dissolved vitamin C with ecchinacea, tea with lemon and honey, and gargle with high concentration salt mix several times a day.

If youbget headaches take ibuprofen, it's a mild anti-inflammatory.

forget that neti pot nonsense or nasal sprays or sudafed(claritin D) doesn't work on real infections.
Sterile saline to irrigate your sinuses- invert your head, shoot a flush in one nostril, let it sit in your head (sinus cavity) about 20 seconds, blow it out the other nostril- into a sink or similar, don't try to use tissues.
Do this at least 3-4 times, turning your head different directions so you can feel the saline working around in there.

The key with sinus issues is to get the majority of the snot out. There will be some seriously nasty shite in there, and antihistamines will just dry it out and turn it into a brick. Keep doing it until you're clear.

Once it's clear, the saline will draw fluid out, shrinking inflamed sinus membranes.

I've dealt with sinus and lots of snot most of my life, a lot of the meds work ok but not great. There is just too much snot for it to work, until you clear it all out.

Once it's clear your natural defenses can work on what little is left, and any meds work a lot better.

Sinus Plumber

Sinus Plumber Allergy Nasal Spray is made with the medicinal power of horseradish, cayenne pepper (capsaicin) and wintergreen. Sinus Plumber provides relief in 30 seconds for symptoms related to allergies, sinus infections and headaches.

Alkalol Nasal Wash

Neil Med Sinus Rinse Saline Powder Packets

Nasal irrigation will really help clear things out. I highly suggest using the premixed packets of sodium chloride and sodium bicarbonate because they are pH balanced. Normal usage would be one packet per 8 ounces warm, distilled water, which is an isotonic solution. But since you have an active infection, you'll want to use *two* packets, making a hypertonic solution, which will pull and drain the crud out.

I've had the worst sinuses most of my life. Have had 3 surgeries. Recently I've been using Astepro & it'll start flowing out after a few hours. Best allergy nasal spray I've tried.

I'll also go stay out west for a few days until it clears up. AZ & NM have been the best for me.

Ginger. My friend picked up some ginger tonic or something that a local vendor had out at a recent event. They have a storefront in Slidell. One shot of that stuff and wow! She said it clears you out, and he concurs.

Looks like I get to participate in this BS, too. My sinuses got so bad my teeth hurt last night. Ended up sleeping in the recliner so I wouldn’t disturb my wife since she’s nursing. Took a sudafed, a mucinex and ibuprofen this morning. Could really go for some coffee.

it is a miracle drug for me

But the rinses are the way to go. If you are really impacted it may take four or five days of three rinses per day, but but will eventually break thru. I’ve had one sinus infection in about 15 years, used to have two or three a year.

Bad sinus infection, tips to help sinus drain
It depends on where you have really bad infection/mucus. Over a decade ago I got a really bad sinus infection in the sinus cavities behind my eyebrows. It felt like my forehead was gonna explode. Really painful. I went to an ENT and had X-rays done and they were completely blocked. He gave me a weeks worth of antibiotics to try to clear it up. Went back after a week and took more X-rays and it was the same as before so I had to have surgery.

The surgeon had to go in and rinse out my sinus cavities and he removed a little bit of bone to allow them to drain better. Right before the surgery, he told me that if he wasn’t able to get it all done through my nose, that he would have to drill a hole in my eyebrows to access them and I had to sign a waiver. Thankfully he didn’t have to do that.

Need mucinex D, not DM.

It's the same shite....

DM just has the cough suppressant..

Just needs to drink lots of water with it.

DM has mucinex + cough suppressant (treats symptom he doesn't have)

D has mucinex + Sudafed (decongestant, which he needs)

DM has no decongestant.
