It's the Super Bowl and Bad Bunny is the biggest name in music no redneck boycott will hurt the ratings

The washed artists up halftime show? No idea
Completely forgot that was a thing

4 replies over a LBTQLMNOP+ meme that upset you seems like a bit more than a hand wave. Happy Friday bud!

So far in 2026:
Patriots vs Texans: highest rated event ever on ESPN. Not just the NFL. The highest rated program in their entire 45+ year history.
Rams vs Bears: highest rated divisional round game in the history of NBC.
Broncos vs Bills: highest rated Saturday playoff game ever.
I don't think the ratings for the upcoming Super Bowl are going to suffer from their choice of halftime entertainment. What matters is the two teams that are playing.
If you don't like the halftime entertainment, then go take a piss, walk the dog, or get something to eat. That is what I plan to do (all three of those things).

On eBay right now for around 50.00 you can purchase a 40 DVD box set of all the Superbowl games from 1966 to 2005 when NFL football was respectable.
I'm just about to pull the trigger on the set so I can relive some of the old great Superbowls and halftime shows instead of today's nonsense.

And people wonder why there is an American halftime show alternative.

That account is known for being a bullshite engagement farmer so this might not even be true
Are you trying to tell me it's not a good idea to get my news from accounts on Twitter that have blue checkmarks, cite zero sources, and stand to directly benefit monetarily from creating controversy online?

That’s it? That’s all he’s gonna do to honor the brave men and women of such an upstanding group? Why not go out on stage and take it up the butt? Lil Nas X would have taken it up the poop chute,

Only Super Bowl I ever watched from start to finish was Jan.1969 when Joe Namath/ Jets won. Never watched another at all until I started dating my wife 1979,her family are football fans.Usually only watch the last quarter, even when Saints won S.B. If we went to her parents to watch any football game I would bring a book to read, would drive her father crazy.

My first thought was that this story was definitely bullshite, but there are a ton of outlets that have picked up the story

So you're saying this person doesn't in fact wear dresses and advocate for queers, and old boomers on the internet just made that up? I thought the problem people had with him to begin with was he was a crossdressing fig?
