Have you ever used forklifts? Ya know how the wheels that turn are at the opposite end from the forks? Have you ever used a pallet jack?
Look, this thread is not about forklifts and pallet jacks. I ALWAYS back those in. (obviously)

Several mentioned pull thru and that’s the absolute best. Reduced risk.
Reduced risk of what, exactly? Because it very obviously INCREASES the risk of running into someone not expecting a vehicle to be popping out of an empty space.

… Go through any parking lot and at least half the forward parked cars are shite park jobs.

Where are you parking where this is happening with parking front end first to be this bad?

I don’t see it often, and then it’s usually someone purposely taking up two spots to protect their car not just because they are bad at parking.

Is anywhere within the lines good? Or if someone you think is too close to the line part of the ones that you consider to be all fricked up because you need the extra space to pull into the spot?

Great money grab for the greedy island council. They claim they must be able to see your tag while driving in a normal traffic pattern. Same for parking on the street against traffic. $100 fine for either. Millions of tourist here. Thousands in tickets each day.

It is pure bullshite for the people paying a hefty fee to stay at Anna Maria Island. Just a little kick in the nuts in the way out

Is this a difficult concept. I can’t pull forward into many spots because of the size of the vehicle, but I can back in because the wheels that turn (laterally) are at the opposite end of the vehicle.

Are you mentally challenged?

What’s it about? Douches who back in to look cool? I think that is a minority.

Yes. Backing into traffic vs no traffic is always the more dangerous option, even if it's "just" a parking lot.

Backing in is technically easier given the way you are able to turn.

That’s not true at all. When you back in you are moving into a constrained area. When you back out you are moving into an open area.

You have significantly less room for error backing in.

Because the less you have to reverse the better off you are. Risk is reduced when you don’t have to reverse.

Pulling through is the best way.
I would agree but you have to be incredibly lucky unless you are talking about Walmarts and usually Home Depot. Easy pull throughs.

With modern cameras that almost every vehicle has now? Nah.

With how good cameras are, depending on the situation it may actually be safer to back out of a spot now, as you'll be able to see more. If you have a large vehicle next to you, compared to your car, you may actually have to go out farther into the potential "traffic" pulling out forward, to be able to see. The backup camera now, you'll be able to see whats coming far earlier.
