re: Backing into a parking spot is the best way to park in a parking lot

Backing in is technically easier given the way you are able to turn.
Plus when you leave, all you have to do is pull straight out. No need to look around and worry about women driving in the parking lot.
It’s also a good way to look at life: put in the “work” first (backing in) and have it in easy mode (pulling straight out) later.

Yeah, there’s literally zero reason to do it and you look like an overcompensating loser when you do.

There’s nothing worse than someone who drives an oversized pickup truck and backs into a spot but parks all over the line.
False masculinity.
It would be manlier to drive a Prius and expertly park it within the lines.

We have to wait for you to back in when you could just quickly pull In.
People that are skilled backing in make you wait the additional time it takes to travel forward 4-5 feet and shift into reverse (3 seconds?) Forward parkers in non angled spots consistently park in a fricked up manner in the spot, time after time.
Yes, there are people in my work lot that back in like old people frick, slow and sloppy. But those of us with "energy" around this subject don't back in in such a manner.

Technically pulling through is the safest way to park. But safest =/= best. Backing is the best.

Our first house had a 2 car carport. We had not accumulated all the extra stuff like a drink refrigerator, extra freezer, golf cart, zero turn, etc, and could actually park both vehicles in the carport. One of us pulled in and the other backed in, creating the most space between the two vehicles so both drivers could exit easier and load/unload with more room.

I guess I'll excuse it for a truck, but watching some soy boy take a minute and a half to back in his Honda Civic in my parking garage and clog traffic is annoying and probably unnecessary.

Alright, but I'm already inside because I pulled into the first spot I found while you're just getting out of your vehicle.

I’ve been back in since I started driving. I can do it pretty damn fast.
And the inverse is true when we leave. As you’re having to slowly back out to look beyond cars and make sure you’re good to go, I’m already out and on the road.
But it’s not a competition man

Parking in the back of the lot and hopping out is the best. Avoid all the soy boys and women maneuvering for a close spot so they don’t have to walk 20 more feet.
Yep. If I can help it, I don't park within 3 or 4 spots of the next vehicle.

The OT definitely resembles a Facebook page populated by geriatrics with trivial obsessions

Back-in parkers are acting out gay sex fantasies of getting into position for a nice session as a bottom.

Spinoff: People who back in to their home driveway are insecure and FOMO losers.
Change my mind.

Stopping the flow of traffic in a parking lot to back in. shite pisses me off every day.

Yeah, that smooth flow at 3mph while everyone going in both directions is rubber necking looking for a spot. Nearly the same as people backing out, that can't see shite because of Lincoln Navigators parked in every direction.
