You've heard the old idiom: the apple does not fall far from the tree. I know two families in which the now grandmother was a beautiful young woman, whose daughter seemingly was a slightly taller clone, and the grand-daughter a yet taller version. I suppose due to better nutrition or maybe additives in the food chain.
