I think he was a pianist, but he made his living as a DJ.

Most, if not all, of the biggest “dj’s” in the world are producers first, and dj’s second. Tiesto, avicii, Calvin Harris, etc.
It’s just that DJ is a much cooler moniker than producer.

Some of his friends say that he was involved with exposing some high profile folks that were involved in a pedophile ring, and that he was wacked as a result.
