Based on Dorignac's lines this snowstorm is expected to last 1-3 months and they are preparing accordingly

You're at Dorignacs at 8:50am on a Monday morning, you don't have anywhere else better to be anyway.

Member when the last generation of Dorignac men would sit at those tables in the front of the store (in front of the beer area) and eat the entire morning away?

They were the size of the O’Daniel father & son.

They weren’t worried about no “reform” though.

If you want to know where the power in this parish is you can skip the council meetings or 24th jdc. It's the Dorignac's food court at 8 am on a Sunday where the decisions get made

Aren’t you there too without food in the pantry and freezer?

I am married to a Metairie grandma, who was in Dorignacs yesterday, and I warn you not to bet on your assumption.

My wife could feed an army.

Get you some of that delicious Dorignac's rare Italian roast beef from the deli department.

Dorignacs had every register open and almost everyone with a bagger. Also had the two express lanes open on the side. I will pay the premium to shop there.

An institution. Watch out for the old ladies in the Mercury Marquis's.

Meanwhile, Eskimo and Inuit people are probably enjoying a meal on a typical day.

Why go to the grocery store when cold weather is coming?

What exactly would you buy that you can’t normally get? Like what would you need?

It’s gonna snow for like one day and then melt the next. I don’t see why this would cause anyone run to the grocery for anything.

Because I didn't go on Friday or Saturday. Needed milk, coffee, some fruit, and stuff to make gumbo. Is that an ok enough reason for you?

The parking lot on days like today may be more dangerous than the weather.
