I’ve actually seen that happen.

I never understood why people there purposely plant eucalyptus trees right next to their houses. May as well just store a ton of napalm in the attic.

Maybe some cases, but too many for that to be the case overall. They are nice trees; they’re nice to look at and give off a pleasant odor, so I can see why people would want to have them close to the house, but is it worth the danger?

I love oak trees but I’m not putting one within reach of my house just for a hurricane to knock over and ruin my year.
