I was about to post this. That's a good way to go into prison.. With all the prisoners knowing you hired a prison coach...
"Hey bitch! Im bout to teach you what no prison coach can".
"Yo aunt becky.. Im bout to make you my daddy.. Did your coach telling you about that?"

I guess the victim would be a kid that didn't get in over hers due to the payments. It would be hard to figure out who that was though.
That's what I'm getting at. If you're going to send someone to jail for something like this, there better damn well be a real victim.

quote:That's true assuming that these students were admitted in addition to the previously allotted spots for incoming students. If there was a hard quota for new admits and these students took spots that they wouldn't have received based upon their own merit, then there are victims. Haven't really seen any reporting that answered that question, though, and I doubt that the feds are going down the rabbit hole that is admissions records.
Anything beyond a civil penalty for this "crime" is an abuse of the justice system. There are literally no actual victims in this case.

The kid that didn’t get into USC because her daughter took their slot. Have you even read deep into this story?

Can we name one actual victim of this crime?
The US tax payers. She committed tax fraud which Uncle Sam doesn’t take likely. See Al Capone

Women's prisons are pretty tame compared to men, and she'll probably be in a Club Fed facility anyway.

I dont understand.. if you’re 55 yrs old and facing that kind of prison time, and a multi Gazillionaire like she and her husband are- why even chance it? I would hop my arse on a flight out of the country and live abroad a la Roman Polanski for the rest of my days... dont get me wrong, I’m not saying it’s “right”, I’m just saying if i had her dollars, i could live really, really well in a country that doesnt extradite to the US... Have their passports been revoked? Even if so, that kind of money can buy fake documents.. I just don’t get it.

You truly are one of the dumbest posters on this board. Do you really have zero inkling of how prisoner classification works? Absolutely zero comprehension of how from parish/county through State and up to Fed there are all kinds of checks and balances in place to ensure for the most prisoners get put with similar type offenders. And it’s not just for inmate safety, it’s also to make the job of guards easier.
The idea some folks have on this board that prison consists of permanently being gang raped is so extreme it makes me wonder what your basic perverted fantasies are.
For the most part the average prisoner is just trying to do their time and keep as low a profile as possible.

I mean, I don't know where she thinks she's going. Maybe her idea of a federal pen is what she's seen in Hollywood.
True story: A childhood friend's dad was arrested for embezzling life insurance policy payouts to the tune of over $500k. He did 28 months in a federal prison in Florida where he collected racquetball trophies, taught insurance courses to other inmates, got free treatment for his ailing back and pretty came out a new, fit man with a great tan.
I feel like Aunt Becky thinks she's going to a state pen instead of Club Fed.
