One of the online news media websites posted the entire list on their website. Slabbed.org is featuring the list and everytime they circulate something it is picked up by everyone.

Told ya'll the class action was coming...

LINK

quote:

TORONTO — Two Canadian law firms have filed a $578 million class-action lawsuit against the companies that run Ashley Madison after a hacker group's data breach exposed some 39 million memberships in the adultery website earlier this week.

Charney Lawyers and Sutts, Strosberg LLP, both of Ontario, said Friday that they filed the lawsuit on behalf of Canadians who subscribed to Ashley Madison and whose personal information was disclosed to the public. The website, with its slogan "Life is short. Have an affair," is marketed to facilitate extramarital relationships.

The lawsuit, filed Thursday in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, targets Avid Dating Life Inc. and Avid Life Media Inc., the Toronto-based companies that run AshleyMadison.com. Its class-action status "still needs to be certified by the court," the statement says.

Granted this is Canada, but I'm sure a U.S. one will follow shortly.

This is going to get real ugly. Like usual in the end the lawyers will be like those great whites eating that whale carcass on shark week

I think this suit is pretty legitimate though. AM promised its users total anonymity and even offered an option (a paid option at that) to delete any and all records of users when they wanted their profiles gone and AM didn't do it.

No matter how you feel about the users being exposed I think we can all agree that if you are paying for a service under conditions that aren't met, then you should be compensated, at least by a full refund.

And I hope he doesn't eat at Outback Steakhouse in Gonzales, LA. Although, they may have something in common to talk about.

Someone told me a good friend of mine was on the BR list. I went through it and didn't see his name. Are there different list floating around?

Two parts. Second part dropped yesterday and made for a very interesting day in Louisiana.
There's a ton of Merged spreadsheets floating around.
