Same here, Paige. What do these people actually accomplish by seeing who is on the list? Seriously?
I tend to agree... Somebody posted the Alabama one and I looked at it, so I can't judge others wanting to look... We are all pretty shitty, nosy people... Have you viewed any of the lists?

Sure have and said that I felt guilty after I did it too. It just seemed wrong and I have voiced my opinion on how I feel about the list and how it was attained here.

i mean who gives a frick?
newsflash: married men like to cheat on their wives.
did we really need a database to prove that?

I saw the Mississippi list and recognized a few acquaintances. My next door neighbor is on it for nearly 2 grand.
How does a coach get fired over it, though? Is he at a parochial school with morality clauses?
ETA: Did not read this whole thread, and not going to.

The list would not bother me one bit if I was on it. If one gets caught, if the list is like the one I have, seems like anyone can just type a name on it. Just do so for the accuser. See we are both on it

Well looks like my son's high school soccer coach just got fired over this shite.
How can they fire him for that? I don't get it.

I just don't understand the fascination with this. I doubt even 1% of the guys who registered got laid off of it. So, you got busted looking around? Big deal.

What emails did they use?
Alot of them were dumb enough to use work emails.

So is this it as far as what gets dumped publicly? All we've seen is lists of names and addresses of who paid, and how much they paid. Reports were that there was all sorts of other sordid stuff, like sexual preferences, fantasy profiles, etc.; none of that has been posted publicly. Is it that it is just too complicated to sort through those data fields in such a large database and match those attributes up to the profile? And of course the Impact Team claims to be still sitting on thousands of photos and chat sessions; if that stuff gets dumped eventually, how easy or difficult will it be to sort that stuff to match it to specific user profiles?
And what about the non-paying subscriptions? I know you can go to any number of search sites and plug in any e-mail you want to and it tells you if that e-mail address is in the database. I'm just wondering if the full list of e-mail addresses will ever be posted publicly, and if so what other data fields will be attached to those profiles. For the non-paying profiles that have been deleted, what data was kept that would be attributed to those profiles that someone would have to worry about?
I'm thinking about the guys--and I bet you there are many of them--who created an account one night out of curiosity, was on there long enough to create a profile and browse around to see what a train wreck it was, and deleted their profile in short order, but used their own e-mail address. So far those guys have skated other than anyone who thinks to put their e-mail address in one of the search sites (and if that's all there is there's still room for deniability). But if someone publishes a full list of e-mail addresses in the database, with all the attributes captured for that profile, with GPS coordinates tied to his address, then he's screwed too, and by association will be lumped in with names who have already been outed for what was no more for him than watching a movie he shouldn't have. Especially if that hypothetical list gets sorted by city the way the first list did to make it easily searchable.
