Lol. I often wonder if some of you cats have ever been in a major city.

probably not, they just listen to the trash that tells them that and they choose to believe them.

Again, very gullible folks.

I worked downtown for 5 years, even though I liked the vibe I’d never live anywhere near there.

This is code for “our lease is coming up, we’re open for business for the biggest incentive program.”

My only regret is I’m not working on this deal, somebody about to make a couple million in fees

It'll be here before too long. I'd say 6-8 months. T-Mobile

Neiman Marcus which is another downtown staple is about to leave too. I can't imagine Dallas without these 2 juggernauts.

NM is a juggernaut?

downtown Dallas important

It will always be an important part of American History. I lived there 2 yrs and every visitor wanted us to take them to Dealey Plaza.

Yeah but that's not Dallas. Dallas needs those tax dollars, this will weaken it's worldwide profile and appeal

There’s nothing they do in Dallas they couldn’t do in a friendlier suburb

Doesn't matter what party runs a city. State governments consistently fail in allocating state funding to adequately ensure police, fire, ems and other things such as programs to reduce homelessness and crime are dealt with properly. Major cities have a ton of money but its never enough to fix issues. Texas has had surpluses and for years have failed to properly fund their DOE.

Very reminiscent of what has happened in Baltimore. And look where Baltimore is today!

I heard he was a Democrat that recently switched. And he is the ceo that has 1 vote just like the rest of the councilmen do.

Dallas is pretty f'd up. Imagine that a big chunk voted Crockett in. With 2 White educated towns in the heart of it.
