Is that when he kissed you for the first time?

After we found out I knocked her up. Was planning on getting married, so we just rush that up by 5 months. Still with her after 38 years+.

To my downvoter - you know something I don't?

I guess someone revels in being a prick.

When I almost lost her. Thats when I realized she was the one.

There is something head clearing when you realize you are about to lose the best thing thats ever happened to you.

When you realize that its real and worth giving your heart to them.

Tinder and Bumble almost ruined me for actual relationships.

When I met her she told me she was 23. Then she said,

"All you need to know is I'm legal and I like older men."

First time i saw her. I remember what she was wearing. The way she looked at me and said hi. Didn’t get together till 7-8 years down the road but I always knew it would happen.

That a beautiful story, my friend. You have my best wishes.

was newly single with 3 kids. I had no intentions of ever marrying again and really no hope of finding anyone who would want to take on a ready made family. I just wanted to not be lonely when the kids were with their dad. But the first time my now husband met my kids, I figured out I was probably wrong. My youngest son has autism and at that time wasn't super high functioning. He didn't usually acknowledge new people or changes. My husband came over just to hang out and cookout one Saturday. He is just naturally good with kids in general. But, when they met, my son climbed in my husband's lap, made eye contact, and touched his face. It shocked the hell out of me and made me think maybe there was something really special about him and maybe I was wrong about finding love again after divorce. They have a really close bond to this day, and it's a moment I will never forget. He didn't fully realize at the time how unusual that was, but we still talk about it from time to time.

Now that’s a fricking love story

The first time i saw her. I recognized her as being my wife. We will have our 43rd anniversary May 31. I told her that we were going to get married on our first date.

When she said this ...

quote:

I have no right to limit you at anything you have your life to manage it the way you like

and this

I'll support you and I trust you are taking the best decisions for your life

My SO says she first time she knew she loved me was as she was moving out of one apartment and into another. She was furiously cleaning to avoid a late charge.

One of the last items was the toilet in the guest bathroom. Upon lifting the seat, she saw several brown spots under the lid, and below the rim of the bowl. This was the result of many backsplashes during the passing of wet feces. There were obviously a few solid lumps in there, creating said backsplash. It must have looked like a war zone. But this...this incident made her realize how much she cared about me then, and still does today.

True love...
