After 3 knee surgeries I find it very uncomfortable to cross my legs with the ankle atop the opposite leg.
I pretty much sit with both feet flat on the floor now.

AT my age crossing my legs at the knee would be a bridge too far of joint and muscle function. Hips, knees, etc all fail with age.
