Agree that this is good evidence of low short-term negative effects of the vaccine.

What specifically makes you believe there are no significant long-term negative effects?

I'm just glad that everyone is so certain that a new type of vaccine that modifies your body's basic code doesn't have any long-term negative effects.

People really need to stop saying this and obviously lack a basic understanding of viruses. If you got COVID-19, the virus would do the exact same thing the vaccine does, insert itself into your cells, have you replicate the virus and then you would spread the live virus to the next person. Except the vaccine creates no virus to actually spread person to person, it just creates the antigen and your body learns to fight it off.

Again, statistically, I have a higher percentage chance of dying from the vaccine than I do the actual virus. But please, continue.

They're busy developing new strains.

100 million sheep does not equate to efficacy or necessity of getting a “vaccine” for something with a low rate of infection that you can easily recover from if you do get.

Id pick Pfizer or Moderna

I’d go with J&J over all of them if I had to be vaccinated.

The European Medicines Agency so far sees no indication that the vaccine caused a small number of blood-clotting incidents reported across the region, Executive Director Emer Cooke said in a briefing Tuesday.

Get a blood clot and die after receiving this vaccine = no indication that the vaccine caused the blood clots. Die in a car wreck while you have COVID counts as a COVID death though.

Right. IF I got COVID19, my body's immune system would naturally fight it like it does all viruses, and either win or lose that fight.

These vaccines teach my body to make something that it will see as foreign and needing to be destroyed.

I don't want to teach my body to do that without hearing a little more about the possible implications of it.
That seems illogical to you?

I think that most people eager to get the vaccine are relying purely on an appeal to authority as their justification for not doubting it. I am surprised that so many people still trust our authorities to that extent.

I read an article where they were shipping COVID vaccines to other countries around the world.

So let me get this straight, you trust a Chinese-made virus more than an American-made vaccine?

37 clots in 17 million people.

How in the world do they know if that's related to the shot or not? The general pop has a much higher risk of clotting than those numbers.

Ooo. we've got an edgy one here, boys. He's no sheep. He's a free fricking thinker and way smarter than the rest of us.

Why don't you explain to the class with your obvious firm grasp of molecular biology exactly how an mRNA vaccine modifies DNA.

Those of us who have an apparent poor understanding of this have been waiting for someone to walk us through this and I look forward to your reply.

Still a free country (for now) so I will leave my dose for anyone who wants it. I have traveled extensively, only worn a mask when forced to and not yet gotten it. I may have some sort of super immunity. Anyone I know in my age group who has gotten it has recovered quickly as it was really nothing to recover from. Please go get your shot and be sure to virtue signal to the world what a fine and noble person you are.

Well in your post you stated zero concern over the long term effects. You simply stated that it would “insert itself into your genes”, which is inherently false. So again, people need to stop using that excuse.

To speak to the long term side effects, this technology has been around far longer than most people know and are undergoing true studies to see what the long term effects could be. So I will say that it is up to you to make that decision for yourself whether you want to take that risk.

Might wanna check out how alcohol stimulates platelet production and also makes them more active making clotting more likely.

Eh. I couldn't think of a good shorthand for RNA. I agree that "basic code" was misleading, but how would you describe RNA?

I think the primary concern should be the safety of the vaccine.
