Maybe so but it seems obvious this bitch burned herself for attention. This seems like it fits some textbook psychology definitions. People like this really bother me with how utterly committed and unrepentant they are towards the lie. Despite no evidence and even a large amount of contradictory or conflicting evidence, they're committed to their lie. Its "their truth" as the left would say.

Yeah that is kind of what I am getting at. It seems irresponsible to say "the hospital believed" without explaining "why" they believed that.
