I think it was the same son from the plant.
I heard that Matassa paid someone so the sun would not be fully prosecuted for the dog

Matassa is really in the wrong parish to be pulling this kind of bullshite.
Ricky Babin and Jeff Wiley are good people and are an outstanding DA and Sheriff respectively. They don't tolerate bullshite like this at all and have been fantastic law and order people and it's a very good assumption they will hold nothing back here in investigation and prosecution.
Matassa would have gotten away with it one of the bum frick Florida Parishes or up north by the Sabine River.

He's impressively ran a very tight ship at the Sheriff's Office and its by far the most professional, competent, honest and respectful law enforcement agency in the entire State of Louisiana.

There's only one person that he coulda paid. And I can tell u without a doubt that Kenny Matassa doesn't have the stroke or the $ to pull that off. Especially in 2002

Same name. He got 30 months probation and had to pay $1k restitution. The people who owned the dog pushed for him to not get prison time.
He also got a little over $12k in a Gofundme after he was burned.

This story started out making me smile. I pictured a trunk monkey delivering an envelope that had $1189 in it because these goobers couldn't raise $1200. It seemed like fiction, written about the stupidest people alive.
After the dog part it just pissed me off. I wish nothing but bad for anybody involved. If they are looking for sympathy, they should look in the dictionary between shite and syphilis.

It looks like karma is taking her revenge. Or it could be that matassa is incredibly stupid.
