You would change your mind after constantly wasting your time at the pump waiting.

I routinely have my rig and pump ready to go so they can just put the nozzle in. Then I routinely put the nozzle back and finish up.

It sucks not being able to pump your own gas.

There is one in my town. They check everything, but gas is about .25 more per gallon.

So, the attendant will just start pumping and walk away to pump another car?

Eta...best service you'll find is at Costco.

Why is this even a thing? What do they think people will do if allowed to pump their own gas?

Or lazy folks

I don't need anything checked because my computer monitors everything but on days like today I don't want to get out and use the pump. Then half the time I smell like diesel when I'm done

Hilarious. I never knew of the law. Went to NJ years ago, got out the rental car to pump and you would have thought I was a terrorist. People freaked the frick out cause I was gonna pump my own gas.

This x1000. I got out the car at one of those stations in the median of the turnpike and got screamed at.
