This is fricking smart. Whether her intentions were sincere or not and there’s no reason to believe they weren’t, the publicity she knew she would receive is priceless. Not only did she get an advertisement, she happened to go in front of a power hungry judge and become a martyr. Gofundme was just icing on the cake.
