An Arkansas IHOP will re-train its employees after a mother says the manager would not let her 3-year-old, who was born without arms, eat at the restaurant because he eats with his feet.

However, the general manager at IHOP told Bancroft that William couldn’t sit on the table and touch the syrup containers because it was a health department issue, KARK reports.

Surely the mother understands that position though right?
Faux ooutrage is an epidemic.

Arkansas Mother should have started by not having sex with a close blood relative.

I would like to post here and say I could, but my heart would ache everyday knowing what my son goes through
To not simply be able to eat at even a fricking IHOP now would likely make me lose it

I'm not cruel, I'm saying the manager was in a position he couldn't win.

The manager shouldn't have a leg to stand on.

I mean, the mom couldn't pour the syrup for him..?

And once again, common sense failed IHOP
As GM, I would have let the little boy eat and use his feet as thats how he lives.
I would have then threw away the $1 syrup bottle as to avoid the health code violation
But alas, common sense failed and now you have this on your plate

It's not us you're mad at, it's science.
It's simple physics. He has fewer parts, of course he's lighter than he should be.
We didn't do that to him.

The manager should have really run away from this one.
