Young man seemed to be able to walk out of the water without crutches. Young man FAFO trying to mouth off to an older man.
So what you’re saying is that kid should have put respek on that man name

Nah frick all that nonsense. People like you and me are 100% Generation X. Same childhood as the technical Generation X. Latchkey kids, corded landlines, pay phones, no cell phones, etc.
It’s a bitter pill to swallow my friend, but we are millennials. Elder millennials or xillennials perhaps, but millennials all the same.
Gen X guys are the ones still wearing cargo shorts, chain wallets, and have goatees. We’re more evolved.

Born in '79. Last of the Gen X and I do none of those things currently and you are lying if you say you don't have an old pair or two of cargo shorts somewhere in your closet

No cargo shorts anywhere. But I do refuse to let go of my curved baseball cap bills.

How many of them have frayed ends?

unsurprisingly the one with the fake new iberia haircut sitting down was the biggest a-hole of the crew.

I would expect nothing less from a redneck yankee.

i my defense i *DO* own the lake in front of my house
i've got the paperwork and had to pull it out when some a-hole teens posted up and started claming 'imminent domain' or some shite and we had to get the cops out and showed them the paperwork and these a-hole STILL wouldn't leave and the cops almost had to cuff them to get them to go.
bullshite. fricking millenials.
eta i have a few photos & video from the whole scene my wife took i can add to the thread
I mean you handled it how it should've been handled. Tell the frickers its your property and they need to leave. Give them the opportunity. Call the cops if they don't and let them handle it.
Ol' Boomer just straight up tried to drown the guy over it. It isn't worth it at that point. Guy will likely spend some of his last years in jail because he clearly was trying to drown the younger guy.

Yeah not sure where I stand on this attempted murder

yeah i'm not defending this clown's actions at all. not exactly the way to handle things.

Some of you boomers really get off on the idea of getting in fights with kids

Dudes a career criminal using a bunch of fake names over the years the news report said.
For someone in that line of work it’s prob best not to pick fights with random people. Hope he likes jail food and penis he’ll be getting a lot of it here shortly.

Hard to imagine that guy was going to drown him, but how do you know?
You live on a lake and hate people that use it, got it. You still can’t assault people. Even if they are inconsiderate jerks.
Posted on 6/5/26 at 2:46 pm to boxcarbarney
As i get older, I can appreciate that a 70 year old man held a 21 year old under water enough to get attempted murder levied against him.

I was born in 1989 and most of my childhood could be described this way
Also desperately trying to attach yourself to GenX is a dead giveaway of a millennial

It's jet skiers though.
They should all be drowned.

If I point a gun at you and miss my shot, that'd be dicey/scary but obviously you'd be fine immediately after. Not sure I'd catch an attempted murder charge.
