Imagine being a reasonably decent looking woman on a submarine full of men

Now imagine being that...when they are about to snuff it

To be fair, the fight they put up the last time wasn't all that stellar.

The Brits made light work of them

Are the hatches universal sizes?

The hatch doesn’t have to be the same size, they just have to have a flat surface around their hatch for our dsrv’s to lock onto. Once a seal is made, the hatch can then be opened

No but the equipment is capable of rescues on our boats and foreign subs. Look up SRDRS.

What’s scary for me is that I would assume they have a communications bouy. If the crew were alive and stuck on the bottom, the bouy would be one of the first things deployed provided they have enough reserve air pressure to shoot it out of a tube

holy crap, I just read a US sub accidentally torpedoed the down sub on the way to rescue. Apparently they were sending first US female sub commander, I guess as symbolic gesture. She pickled off the wrong thing and blew that Argentine sub up.

This is terrible. Wow.

Poking fun at the probable death of a crew of brave sailors serving their country is where an apology is warranted from you.

Considering the Brits were supposed to be a superior naval force, I'd say that wasn't a shining moment. Those Exocets were pretty effective.

I bet you were a popular guy in your unit. Not for your personality but for your willingness to take a dick in the arse
