Everything in that letterhead is a lie, except for the district's name.

So were the remarks even directed at the teacher and students or did someone "overhear" an employee talking to another employee? Wish somebody would clear up what was said and who it was said to.

Jesus. So what about playgrounds, or toys or dessert at lunch? Any of those that we should nix as well?

It's a question of what a field trip should be. Reasonable people can have different opinions on that. However, I can tell you that in the last 8 years that my kids have been in school, they haven't gone on a field trip like this. So, there is some difference between whatever standard is being applied to my kids' schools and the standard in St. Helena.

I interviewed with St Helena right out of college bc I was desperate for a job. The principal was 90 minutes late, had to put her whig on while walking in the door, and couldn't not write anything bc her nails were still wet, and answered a call in the middle of the interview to talk about plans for Essencefest. frick that school.

You didn't get the job, did you?

What are the chances the employee was black and the students/teacher white?

This.

The amount of hoops that I've had to jump through and witness other jump through for field trips almost makes it not worth even trying for.

Lesson plans, assignments, and reflections were all a part of the process for receiving permission to go on a field trip.

How will they be able to carry on with their lives? Futile, I say.

If you're implying I'm resentful towards the school, read my 2nd post about not being hired by an majority black school w/a black principal.

I use slurs towards everyone when I have the misfortune of having to take my daughter to that place. It's a bunch of wild animals.

The following is a no bullshite post, I'm being completely serious:

Just heard from an inside source that the only thing that was said was that the kids were acting like animals. This is from the St Helena side of things, not from anybody at area 51.

Now, I'm not sure what St Helena is claiming was said.

But I hope Area 51 doesn't meet their demands

If an employee did actually call the kids (regardless of how they may have been acting) ni**ers, then the manager should at least pick up the phone, call the superintendent/principal and apologize. That said, I'd tell them to frick off if they want some "pomp and circumstance" public apology.

From a business perspective what's the worse that can happen? St. Helena schools don't take any more field trips to a trampoline park? Who gives a shite? I doubt Area 51 needs St. Helena Parish Schools in order to keep the lights on.
