I got on Facebook when it was a startup at thefacebook.com and was only college; It was fun then. I think I quit whenever they started opening it up to the general public - around the time I left college.

All my friends are still on Facebook at least that I am aware of. I don’t give a shite either way though.

Never had twitter or parlor or snap chat but I still have a full head of hair and ride a wave runner often.

What does riding a jet ski have anything to do with this?

I wouldn't know because I don't use Facebook or Twitter. I can only say that I would not recommend either to my friends.

How are you supposed to signal your virtues then?

Never had Twitter, except for a joke account.

Technically have a Facebook, but haven’t logged on in 10+ years and don’t remember the password.

Attached email is also Scruffy’s old LSU account, and that’s been closed for a decade.

Never could get into using Facebook.

Sitting down and uploading photos was such a damn chore, which is why Scruffy leaves all that shite to the wife.

She likes Instagram for the most part. Never got into that one either.

Tigerdroppings is pretty much the only site Scruffy ever gets on.

I am in the mode of wanting to get rid of FB all together (but keep insta). The problem I have with getting of FB is the groups. My neighborhood has a few groups which I enjoy as well as some other groups that I frequent. They've got me hooked. Maybe I can create a new account and rejoin the groups but then not become friends with anyone. That way, I can sign in, check the groups and then get out.

I don't know if my friends are on it or not. I haven't had Facebook in about 4 years or Twitter in about 2.

Amateur.

Your virtues will never reach a wide enough audience just signaling them here.

I post something to FB like maybe once a month and its always just a pic of my kids to appease my family

I keep FB for 3 reasons:

- easiest way to keep in touch with friends/family
- buy/sale/trade - I've bought and sold lots of stuff on FB
- special interest groups (hunting, gardening, backpacking, kayaking, etc) - I've made lots of friends and learned lots of really valuable information on these groups

I've literally never had a negative experience on FB, so when I see people complaining about FB causing all these problems in their lives, I just don't get it

obviously FB as a company is a POS, but so are most giant corporations

I’ve never known anyone to say it caused problems in their life. I’ve known many to say they got bored with it or it became too political. Doesn’t mean it caused problems, at some point you just get tired of seeing the same stuff over and over. If you unfollow all the political people then you are left with a bunch of people who never post anything
