I think we should do like Portugal. Legalize it all. Crazy that their use rates are lower than ours.
The Fentanyl epidemic came on the heels of cracking down on pain killers. But Lortabs and even Oxycontin are safer than what came after. And Fentanyl used to only be in patch form. It was never in powder. Now it's in most pills* and powder. (*many street drugs are fake pills made to look like oxycontin or xanax even)
Now even though coke comes from Bolivia, fentanyl from China and heroin from Afghanistan we are focused on Venuzeuela.

Right. It was actually easier to get when illegal. I would make a call and it was dropped off after a bit. Now i have to go online, place an order, wait like 15 minutes for the confirmation then drive by the airport and wait in the drive-thru, show my ID then get the pot.
Prices aren't horrible at $30/8th but it was cheaper when illegal.

Well if you can grow your own or walk a block to a dispensary, plus out here there is so much competition that you're paying at time like $10-$15 of top shelf for an 8th. Shops have deals everyday too..
Personally, I like to smoke at home or out back by my fire pit. Love to BBQ and get stoned knowing I'm going to tear up some ribs. Also love smoking boudin (grill)

I don't like the smell lingering so i smoke on my back porch or in master bathroom with the vent. I have a friend that smokes blunts in their house and it always stinks.
But to me cigarettes smell so much worse. I'll hold my breath around cigarettes.

Alcohol is responsible for millions of deaths, most people that drink it are miserably annoying to those who dont, it stinks and is more expensive pound for pound. Yet widely accepted and not blamed at all for the downfall of society. Let's ban it and see how quickly society goes to shite. Have you learned at all how society acted during prohibition?
Ban weed and stoners will, as they always did before and many still do, quietly call the local dealer, get a bag and carry on without a whimper. Just because you dont enjoy something doesnt mean others cant. Get the frick over it and get a drink. Better yet smoke a joint. You'll feel better.
