I do think they surpassed used car salesmen.

Some agents put more work into their pics and show themselves more than the property

It’s still doctors and lawyers
But real estate agents are gaining ground

shite. If they are hot, those are the best ones.

I don’t know anyone who hates real estate agents. They seem way down the list.

You just have to find the right real estate agent. I deal with one who is an activist for the best interest of the client, and manages expensive listings. Its hard to sell a multi-million dollar home. I deal with another who is very knowledgeable about the process and puts me in touch with the right people.
I met a few who you could tell they are just doing it on the side, and don't take the profession seriously. Those are the ones you want to stay away from.
I tried to do an internal sale of property from one family member to the other without using an agent. The title company groaned and sent me all these documents to fill out, some of which I was unfamiliar with. I called my agent and said I don't feel like doing this as its not worth my time, and agreed on a small flat fee for them to handle it. We closed in less than a month.
All in all I like them, especially if you are trying to get multiple properties over a short time period. They make my life easier and have peace of mind during the process.

Some of them can be shady just like any profession. One with experience, plenty of transaction history, and long term at a single location have a lot of knowledge and normally a lot of repeat clientale.
Your money... your choice. Think you can handle a real estate transaction yourself? Go for it. Lawyers do it all the time. Just depends on your comfort level and risk aversion.

The profession with the lowest form of humanity are loggers. They are not worth a single penny.
No matter what they say they are lying. The will destroy a piece of property, especially the roads, culvers and bridges and disappear and never return to repair it.
Then after loggers it is:
Tote the note car lots
Shady mechanics, plumbers and HVAC guys.
Billboard lawyers.
My main grief with doctors is when you ask for the first appointment of the day (at say 8am) and you dont see them until 10:30.
Everyone should know realtors are full of shite and to not believe what they say.

I don't hate them IRL but they are by far the most annoying profession on social media

That’s because most of them are women. And women in general are annoying on social media.

I only dislike the ones that can't shut the frick up on social media and act like their motivational speakers/life coaches all of the sudden.

People actually liked lawyers until Arizona started allowing lawyer advertising and the opinion of the legal profession started going down big time ever seen then.
Look I get along fine with people, the laws in place frick everyone way more than lawyers. Corporate lobbyists have done more to destroy American values and the middle class than all the lawyers times two.
There probably hasn’t been a law that helped you passed in decades

No as long as lawyers and politicians still walk this earth
As a government employee I can’t stress this enough. And since a lot of politicians are lawyers it just puts them at the top. I don’t think the general public realizes how ignorant most elected officials really are.

if politician counts as a profession, then its them. all are blood sucking worthless dregs of society.

The common thread with ALL of the professions named ITT is simply this:
- A good/great one is worth their weight in gold. This goes double for lawyers and HR, 100x for doctors
- A bad one, especially one with an agenda (activist or ambulance chaser lawyer, SJW HR, etc) wreck the profession for everyone else.
