Are lawyers good sales people?

I've always considered myself a high end salesman but wonder how I would compete against a lawyer. If there are any lawyers here, what are the best sales tactics you use to get business?

Vast majority of lawyers are terrible salesmen. That's why you have so many associates

By and large, most are bad salesmen and worse businessmen/managers. If you can get right on all 3 fronts, the sky is the limit.

Depends on area of the country, practice area, and whether you get a cut of the business generated

"I'll keep you out of jail for $5000" is a pretty good sales strategy. Usually helps when you're selling a product like freedom

Judging by your other posts about work, you’re not a high end salesperson.
Second, the best salesmen are hiding in corporate compliance.
