He made a comment earlier saying cigars are now in the same trashy category with cigarettes and vaping.

Cigars are old school manly. Real man pipe smokers are dead and gone. Cigar is the last remaining respectable tobacco use. But real cigars Not that gay flavored shot that’s basically glorified cigarettes.

Depends on the cigar. Traditional cigars are manly but these "flavored" cigars that cross the line into Black n Mild territory are trashy.

As I sit on my patio switching from this horrible baseball game and the warriors/rockets, I’m enjoying a nice cigar and a Blanton’s single barrel. So tell your buddy to go frick himself. Nothing beats a good cigar and a bourbon neat.
