Approx commute time from NOLA to BR on a Friday morning?

I have to be in BR (College drive) for 8am, what time should I leave NOLA? I've never had to make this drive this early so I'm unsure as to just how bad the traffic is in the morning.
TIA for any information.

I make the trip from Lakeview to Siegen a lot of mornings.
Pretty much an hour and 15 minutes no matter what if you leave any time between 6am and 7am.
I'd leave by 6:15 to get all the way to College. You shouldn't hit any traffic in BR until right before the 10/12 split. You'll obviously hit some Ascension traffic, though.

6:15 should be good. Give yourself an easy drive and maybe even time to grab a coffee on College.
Traffic's typically a little lighter on Fridays FWIW.

Friday is USUALLY a better traffic day in the mornings for BR. But you can literally never count on there to not be a flipped 18 wheeler, car burning, or finder bender causing 6 mile delays. So if it's for something important that you cannot be late for, I would leave by 6:00-6:10 at the latest. If you're early then grab a coffee or some breakfast nearby.

I leave Mid-City everyday at 6:15. Usually stop at a gas station in Laplace and get to LSU b/w 7:45-8.

615 should be plenty of time. I used to make that drive for work. For 730 start time I left Metairie by 610.

I drive to Nola from BR every morning at 6:45am. The traffic coming into baton rouge on I10W at the Ascension parish line is crawling for probably 5-10 miles. Every morning.
