Apparently I ignored the memo on management taking off today

Usual routine this morning of getting here early and stocking my fridge with snacks and fruit for the week. Make a cup of coffee. Read the news.
And I step out of my office to only the clerical and sales staff here.
I am the only guy with an office who showed up
Looked back through emails, email was sent out two weeks ago when I had the flu asking for who needed to be off after Easter.
Sneaky bastards.

Today was a funny day. This morning was very confusing, as we had some staffing shortfalls in the office. I told my friends on tigerdroppings all about it. They thought it was funny, too.
Ok, diary, I have to go. Big day tomorrow! I'm picking up my dry cleaning and I want to be well-rested!

Traffic in Houston was relatively light so I am glad people took off. They can take off the rest of the week too if they want.
