But for a test not to show re results of triplets? That's a solid litmus test and to fail that raises solid red flags.

It was off by 10% or less. That may not be as accurate as you'd like, but that's not just a lucky guess either.

My son got both of us tests for Father's Day, it's crazy how different our results are! I guess he takes after his mother haha

I am hoping to get mine back with some native American ancestry so I can get a cushy job as a college professor and become a Senator.

I don't know of anyone who is Cajun and it came back and said they were mostly Scandinavian or something.

Right here. My mother was a Breaux and my father's grandmother was Choctaw. My DNA results came back Irish and Scandinavian, and no Native American.

And just how do those people know their ancestry is correct?
Because they’ve done the research before taking the test...

Also, Jeff Rossen did the same thing for the Today show almost two weeks ago. All three reports (23andme, Ancestry, and FamilyDNA) showed identical information. I truly believe you shouldn't take the results as the Gospel and should be use in conjunction with actual research.

I was about to say - I saw one show and all three tests pretty much got the same results for all three triplets. I thought the OP was full of bs but maybe I saw the same one you saw and the one he saw had different results.

You know what that means...

On a serious note, missing that you may be 1/16th Native American isn't all that crazy.

The ancestry stuff is novel to see, but I’ve had a lot more fun going through the genetic health/traits reports from running my raw data through promethease.com. I’ve learned I have a genetic mutation that makes me very resistant to HIV infection. I have a lifetime of avoiding sharing needles & unprotected sex to make up.

Same people who fell for this also believe that they have some obscure "star named after them or a loved one".

This is what I am thinking. It has to have some accuracy to it.. If they were just printing out random results and sending it to people, you would have white people from... IDK.. Kentucky.. Getting shite back that says they are 27% Kenyan, but who knows..

The triplets self identify as not related to each other. We need to respect them and their reality.
