Hey, I just picked up a vintage Peugeot bicycle earlier today and am having trouble dating it. On the seat tube is a sticker with "Manno's Bicycles and Lawnmowers - Baton Rouge & Lafayette". Does anyone remember this shop? Any idea what years they were open around?

I remember it was on Florida Blvd. in the back of the strip mall that Anthony's Italian Deli was in. I went there as a kid in the 70s. I don't know how much longer it stayed open past then.

Google the store and you will get the owner's obituary. He was a 1950 grad of Catholic high.

Used to be on Plank Road. Sold a ton of Sting-Rays back in the 60’s.

I got my Schwinn Red Stingray with a 5 speed stick shift at Manno's back in the 60's. My Father bought all our bikes there.

No, but curiosity got me, and I looked it up.

Got a check ready to mail to Lakan Bernhard Lang so I can learn the original style of cinco teros which was founded in the province of Luzon called Pangasinan.
