I did the six sigma thing. When I’m not drinking and grilling I may come share a funny/stupid story about that

Lol, have you been living under a rock? Shite load of companies are going to be making changes or at least consult on things they need to implement moving forward because of this.

And companies like Toyota are always moving forward coming up with better ways to run their company. The Japanese don't frick around.

I do, but my degree has absolutely nothing to do with supply chain management.

Purchasing MGR. My degree has nothing to do with my job. Other than I’m a great conversationalist.

Supply chain major here. I work for a very large fortune 20 retailer. Supply chain’s role in the modern business increases every year. It’s very important to understand. I’d highly recommend it.

I don’t have a degree in supply chain but have been doing it for over 10 years the last 8 in O&G. I’m thankful for it because it’s been the least hit at my company for layoffs. They haven’t taken it seriously enough up until recently. It’s a great field to be in that spans multiple industry types. I don’t think a degree in it is necessary but definitely look into ASCM (formerly APICS). Will learn a lot through that and OJT

Why not just get a job with CH, JBH, or any of the other 1000's of 3pl's out there? They will basically hire anyone that applies. Work there for a couple of years, then try to do something in supply chain other than hump trucks. As many others have said, you don't need a degree in supply chain to work in supply chain.
