I was looking that Southeastern offered a bachelors.
Would one be wise to try to get a 2nd bachelors or get a masters? Are the careers prospects strong? And I hope Florida has opportunities.

I do, but my degree has absolutely nothing to do with supply chain management.

It’s a great field to get into. Oil and gas provides the highest salaries in our region in this field, so there will be some problems in the near future

I can’t speak for how good SLU is for this program. You could double major in something like finance or Business Management

Exactly the same for me.

What do you do exactly?

I am a regional operations manager at a courier/distribution/warehousing company. I do a little bit of everything really, to make sure the ship is sailing smoothly.

I spent almost 30 years in chemical distribution. I can’t imagine a degree in “ supply chain management” would have added anything to what I did. The first few years of experience were what helped me the most.
BTW - my degree is in Personnel Management with a minor in psychology. The psychology probably helped me more than anything !!!!!

The degree will def help one to get on with a better company at the start of a career.
Things have changed a lot in the last 15 years with how many schools are offering programs now.

Trying to pay bills after college, and the opportunity presented itself through networking, and paid better than my other prospects at the time. That was almost 6 years ago.

Supply chain major here. I work for a very large fortune 20 retailer.

Supply chain’s role in the modern business increases every year. It’s very important to understand.

I’d highly recommend it.

I will say this: more than a few of my lawyer, med professional, engineering, etc friends missed work and money this year while I didn't miss a day in the office, and we had no pay-cuts.
